What things did you enjoy the most about your experience this week?
I enjoyed reflecting on my daily routines and activities, as well as taking stock of the things I have and need to see what impact they have.
What were the main challenges you faced during the week?
As an already somewhat conscious consumer with regards to my environmental impact, I have learned some routines like different dishes that help me keep my personal impact rather small. However, it is when I have to break out of these routines that it becomes difficult to choose the less emission emitting alternatives of the decisions – from ordering food late at night after a long day of work, to the way of transport.
What were your main lessons learned of the week?
When I am doing sports, I have to factor in that I will be consuming a lot more than usual.
What would have made it easier for you to achieve your target this week?
Having a reference point would be encouraging. Even though there is the overall target stated at the top of the Excel list, it would be encouraging to have a sample list that is filled in (perhaps one for a typical student, one for a typical family, one for ….) so one can compare and see where one can do better, which would be the low hanging fruits, etc.
