What things did you enjoy the most about your experience this week?
This week the thing that I enjoy more was trying to adjust my lifestyle action in order to reduce my daily carbon emissions. It was not as easy as I thought.
What were the main challenges you faced during the week?
The main challenges that I faced during the week are linked to my attempts in trying to start substituting some by-products food with ones that are more sustainable.
for example, I started using almond milk instead of cow milk for making my porridge during breakfast. Furthermore, I tried to eat more vegan or vegetarian food at lunch and this was possible thanks to my colleagues. They sometimes proposed to eat in vegan/vegetarian restaurants, and I really joined. It was a kind of surprise discovered that some kinds of dishes based on vegan o vegetarian diet are very tasteful.
Another point that I tried to change was my leisure activity. It was very impactful because I was used to training 4 times a week and the proxy is referring to money. So for reducing it I decide to make a monthly subscription that can allow me to have access to different activities. In that way, I could put the subscription in the routine action section.
What were your main lessons learned of the week?
The main lesson learned was that I remained out of target despite the efforts I made. Of course, they were small efforts but I realized it is not so easy trying to have a lifestyle that allows you to stay inside the target.
What would have made it easier for you to achieve or surpass your target this week?
The things that made it easier for me to surpass the target were as usual gas consumption and more in general my whole lifestyle. But I am very motivated and I am trying to make small changes every day.
